St Brelade's Bay

South West Coast of Jersey

Description

Launch from the beach at the western end of St Brelade's Bay. There is paid and free parking nearby. Head west along the base of granite cliffs to Corbiere Lighthouse, the south west corner of Jersey. The tidal range can be up to nearly 12 metres, so in places tidal races can develop. Also the possibility of some Atlantic swell. Numerous rock gardens. A very popular section of coast with local kayakers and SUP paddlers.
