great public dock and beach put in. beach is super squishy at low tide, defiantly recommend using the dock at low tide and when you don't want to get wet. parking offseason is fine for non-locals, but you can not park memorial day to labor day unless you are a town resident. no parking on the street either -i've heard that they tow easily in the summer. very calm harbor, currents manageable almost all around the area - watch it near the mouth and in narrow points and you'll be fine
