Description
Just opened last weekend. Great access to Long and Cross Bayous and Boca Ciega Bay. 4.5 miles to John's Pass and the Gulf. Great mangrove paddling and fishing area with very little shoreline development. Hopefully the launch area will be further improved. My launch at very low tide required wading through mud over my ankles. Take old shoes. Definitely worth it. I will be paddling here more and will update developments.
4/6/2020 Update. New paddling slide launch has been installed and it works great. Also water is available to flush off your boat but bring your own hose.
