The Schimmel City Boat ramp is a great location to start your trip its just a few miles to the main river channel for the mighty Missouri River. Farley is just 23 miles from Kansas City on highway 45 close to Parkville. There is a cool old General Store in Farley called The Farley Mercantile that has general store items, beer, wine and spirits and bait and tackle. There is plenty of parking at the ramp.
