Round Pond Harbor

Round Pond, US

Description

This is a saltwater trip along the coast of Muscongus Bay. After leaving the harbor you paddle either up the bay or down towards the ocean. No matter which way you go you will see lobster boats working, large pleasure crafts and some big homes.

As the parking lot is limited, and used by the lobstermen, you may have to unload your kayak by the boat ramp and then park along the road you drove in on. This is a working harbor so please watch for boats.
