Description
Rio Vista and Corraled Siphon Road are about 100 yards from each other, but access is about two miles apart (Rio Vista access through gravel road next to Rio Vista Park in Rio Rancho, and Corraled Siphon Road parking lot is accessed from the the intersection of Corraled Road and Siphon Road (runs along the acequia) ending at the weir.
CAUTION!
There is a Rock Weir, approximately 4-5' tall and river-wide, at this location. There is a boat ramp/portage trail around the weir. DO NOT PADDLE OVER THE WEIR.
From Rio Vista/Siphon Road, the next access point is 8 miles downstream at the Alameda boat ramp.
