Description
The Orange Community boathouse is the home of Billy Goat Boats, a family run, family friendly boathouse. They rent canoes, kayaks, standup paddleboards and foot powered pedal boats. They even do repairs.
There is plenty of parking and a carpeted launch area. There are also clean public restrooms in the boathouse. (at least there was pre covid.)
The Orange Riverfront Park also host several annual events including the River Rat Race, The Millers River Challenge and The Orange Solstice Riverfest.
Cool side note - the Castle Rock series based on Stephen King stories on Hulu was filed in this town.
