North Chagrin Metro Park to Pleasant Valley Park

Chagrin River

Location Overview

Water level was a tad low for kayaking here in September, but has some good level IIs. We went 4.2 miles downstream to a small park off the road (Pleasant Valley). Area seemed safe and quiet with good views the whole way. There is parking here, but hard to drop in kayaks due to a large brake wall. Some runners recommended the church across the river, as they encourage fishers/kayakers to park there.
