River Pau

Description

Nice launch point for the river Pau. Heading downstream there are a lot of fairly easy white water sections. Strongly recommend going with a guide the first time on this stretch. I went with a guide company called Pavillion who were great. A few kilometres downstream there is a branch in the river with the smaller left side taking you down a weir and the right hand side dumping you over a large waterfall. There are also several kayak courses with gates as you travel downstream. Beautiful location and great paddling, but please use caution.
