Description

This is very picturesque section of the Brecon and Monmouthshire Canal. From Llangynidr to Llangattock Basin, it takes you through some of the prettiest countryside Monmouthshire has to offer. The total distance of this paddle is 9.5 miles up and back. Launch spot is from the free car park on the canal ( W3W awakening.reservoir.pillow) off Forge Road, the main road into the village from the A40. You'll go over a medieval bridge to get to the car park and the views of the Usk as you go over are stunning !! The car park is quite small, however considerate parking on the road is permissable.
