From Desoto Pkwy. take Oakhill Rd to Dunn Rd. about a mile in (turns into Forest Road #5) follow downhill at bottom parking on left before creek. Good Launch and take out spot. You can paddle up form here and see the two forks(east and west) that come together to form Little River or paddle down and take out at up to 3 other locations, Hartline Ford,Billy's Ford and Blue Hole. Be sure to stop at Blue Hole because the Little River Falls are just up from there . Between This launch and Billy's Ford Class 1 run and fairly easy; below Billy's Ford expect Class 1-3 and be aware of your water levels at all times.
