Take the steps down. 9.3 miles to Blanchard Landing. Roughly 3 hours at a low to moderate pace. Very easy trip. A few quicker sections that are a little bumpy when the water level is low. Varying wildlife can be seen--turtles, eagles, beavers, blue herons.
