Lambert Branch Park

Granbury Lake

Description

Launched off a spot with a tiny beach near the bridge. Not quite sure where parking is, but there is a dirt area for a few vehicles next to a walking bridge for the paved trail. No restrooms in eye view where I parked, but the other side of Lambert Branch Park may have restrooms. Paddled under the bridge to the right for maybe 20 minutes, then hit a dead end. Lots of rocks under the Crockett St overpass little passed the beautiful fountain. Paddled back to where I launched from, but kept going to the Pearl St overpass, there is a park near there to if you are looking for a longer paddle. About an hour and a half paddle round trip. Water was very still on this cool evening after many 100 plus degree days. Cute little walking park around Lambert Branch
