Kasoag Lake Tavern and Grill

Kasoag Lake

Description

Launch is owned by the bar and shares the parking lot with the bar. $10 to launch boats, $5 to launch canoes/kayaks. Pay at the bar or at the honor box. You can back down a fairly steep paved ramp and put your boat right into the water, there are docks on either side of the launch ramp.

The lake looks and feels like an Adirondack Park lake. The water is very clear, there are islands you can go on, lots of features to the lake. If the water is not too high, you can duck down and go through the pipe under Kasoag Lake Rd. at the north end of the lake, and continue toward Green Pond. Kasoag Lake is pretty calm. You can cover the whole lake in an afternoon. We saw, turtles, a beaver, a snake, lots of fish. This is a really nice lake.

Bathrooms and food/drinks can be had at the bar. They have live bands on the weekends.
