Not advisable to jump off the bridge but the water here is pretty deep and is right after a section of rapids and before another one. When the river is high/flood stage it is all rapids and is impossible to get out at this location. It is also not an official exit so it is very muddy. There is plenty of free parking along the roadside but it is private property so be respectful. People have been using this exit for many years and haven't had any problems. Teens use this exit often when tubing or just to swim in the river/jump the bridge so be careful where you step because there is litter.
