Description

Easy unloading and loading here, besides being muddy. Free parking. Usually at least one fisherman on the bank. At this time it's too shallow for a canoe but kayaks fit. From here to Monroe, if getting out behind Ellis library after raisinville bridge, is about a two hour trip. But it is not the most exciting, flat water, a couple faster spots and rocks to maneuver around. Good for beginners. I don't recommend swimming here, or getting out as the water looks dirty. Overall good spot.
