This location is at Captain's Quarters and is only for the elite to launch their yachts. If you have a 100+ lb. fishing kayak, several rods, gear and a dog you are out of luck. It is gated and requires a code to enter. Harrod's creek has no reasonable access in Jefferson County. Your only options would be to brave the Ohio River and paddle your way up current to Harrod's Creek, launch at Harrod's Creek Park and carry your boat and gear about 200 yards, or win the lotto and buy a yacht. If you enter at the Ohio wear a life jacket!
