park in little car park just over the bridge opposite the pub. Railway inn walk down to bridge to access the canal. Paddle west takes you towards Clayton le moors lovely countryside very quiet. Paddle east takes you towards Rosegrove heading towards Burnley paddle past the canal river trust building at rose-grove will bring you to the tunnel 2 mile 1 way. 4 mile round trip. If you want a lunch stop the Sycamore pub is 1 min walk from canal at Rosegrove and has outdoor seating area toilets
