Description
Giving Pond Recreation Area is a highly scenic 62 acre former quarry. It is populated by pretty but inaccessible islands and lifeless trees protruding from the shallow water. These natural features make for a very interesting paddle. Wildlife flourishes here. The water is calm with no little current. Children may enjoy getting up close to the abundance of turtles which are often just feet away. This is a great place for beginning paddlers.
