This is a long sheltered lagoon, protected from the Pacific by the peninsula. Lots of bird life and fish, also lots of human activity, but plenty of room. This lagoon is tidal, so plan accordingly. We paddled a loop up to the restaurants and homes at the east end. On the return the tide was out and we had a 200 meter slog through mud flats to get out. Restaurants, bathrooms and etc are at the eastern end of the route.
