El Faro is a popular beach on Isla Del Carmen in the National Marine Park of the Bay of Loreto. Permits are available in Loreto by the marina up to 2 weeks in advance of the date, and cost about $3.50 per day. Camping is limited to 2 nights at any one beach. Views of the Sierra la Giganta mountains are spectacular, and wildlife viewing from here is excellent.
