Description

Enter from N 9th Street Rd south of the bridge. Take the drive north and then go under the bridge to the launch site. Large parking area. Concrete ramp is rough. River current is slight.

The iron bridge is for pedestrians and bikes. It is part of the Heritage Trail that goes north to Battleground and south to Lafayette.

It is a short paddle upstream to the convergence of the Wildcat Creek.

The next boat launch downstream is Mascouten Park, about 3.5 miles. Paddling downstream you will pass Heron Island, then under the pair of bridges for Sagamore Parkway.
