Several launch options here. Launch from the beach or the boat launch.
Steer clear of the fishing pier as lots of lines are usually in the water. Water is only 3 feet deep out to the pilings about 75 yards off the shoreline, then it drops off. No surf - wind blown waves if the wind is from the south.
There is a public bathroom and outdoor shower. Check out the historic hurricane flood markers on the entrance to the building.
Lots of parking, however avoid the boat trailer parking if you do not have a trailer. The local PD is known to ticket to busy boating weekends.
