Description

Part of the Kawartha highlands provincial park. Lake is full of cottages but it is the starting off point to little turtle and shark lake where there is back country camping available. If your intention is to go camping I would advise against going solo. The portages are long with some awkward footings in sections. Otherwise the paddling is easy and scenic. I’ve attached photos of what the first portage looks like
