Description

The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division (WFF) has recently opened a new boat landing in St. Clair County on the Neely Henry Reservoir. The new facility is located on the west side of Canoe Creek and can be accessed off Byrd Lane east of Greensport Road approximately two miles south of Highway 411 near Rainbow City, Ala. The facility features a 60-foot-wide launching slab, paved parking lot for 80 truck and trailer rigs (with both make-ready and tie-down areas), two fixed aluminum access piers, and two 100-foot floating aluminum access piers. Additionally, the new facility has security lighting and is fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
