- Calumet Lagoon at Marquette Park
Description
Great place for beginners or a light paddle. Easy handicap assessable launch. No motor boats allowed so you won’t have to watch out for those. The lagoon connects to The Paul H. Douglas Center for Environmental Education that has plenty of great trails. If you’d like to make a short portage you can easily get into another big section of the lagoon. Limited free parking right by the launch. Marquette Park has paid available. Seasonally there are indoors restrooms and a concession located at Marquette Park.Location & Directions
