Hours to access are limited and change with season - check before you go (typically 9-5 or 9-6 depending on season.) . The road for the Kayak/canoe launch is not currently well-marked. It is a gravel road leading from the far end of the parking lot (look for it carefully - it's about the size of a parking space and occasionally someone tries to park there and blocks it.) You can drive directly up to the launch area, but will need to park in the parking lot after you drop off your kayak or canoe. Parking is a few hundred feet away. Parking may be difficult on peak use days. Launch is limited to kayaks or canoes only. Pay attention to park closing time as the gate will be locked after hours. Bluebird Gap Farm is a working city farm park, with a petting zoo, playground, Master Gardener / 4-H demonstration garden, and trails. It is free admission/parking. Restrooms are available in the fenced in farm area of the park next to the parking lot. The launch itself is a floating dock with rollers (handicapped accessible launch point.) Family friendly - no alcohol. There are picnic shelters in the fenced in portion of the park.
