Description
This is a limited parking lot that fills up early during the busy season. There are a few spots that can accommodate a trailer or you can park along the one side of the access road if required. The boat ramp can get quite busy with boats getting both out of and into the water. There is a little strip of 'beach' to the one side of the ramp that you can land a kayak/canoe/SUP and carry or cart your boat up to the parking lot instead of using the ramp with your vehicle.
There are no bathrooms here.
You have to be really careful when using the ramp because there's a multi-use (bike) path that you have to cross to access it. This can be VERY busy at times. Best to have someone get out of the car and watch for hazards when accessing the ramp.
You can paddle west toward downtown or east toward Petrie Island. You can also easily access the Gatineau River from this put-in.
