Description

The map view on this web site fails to show this 12 acre Lake fed by Brushy Creek.

Ashland Lake is 12 acre lake managed by the Missouri Department of
Conservation. It kind of remote an has an interesting structure at the
far end. There also some cypress trees on the bank. I was told it was
some kind of a pump house and spillway built by former owners of the land. Where you put in you paddle down Brushy Creek into the lake

I fish primarily for bass and caught a couple here. Pretty much need to
fish out of a boat, kayak or canoe. No gas motors allowed. Kayak or
canoe is probably the better choice. There are some cypress trees around
the lake great place to find some bass.

The conservation department list crappie, redear, blue gill as fish you will find here.

The conservation web site with a detailed map of the lake is at https://mdc.mo.gov/discover-na...
