After having used this Aventura 140 for a few months now I find It very stable and user friendly for beginners to advanced. Class 1-3. It’s two hatch’s are tight and roomy enough for a lot of camp gear. The seat is comfortable with lots of padding. Foot pedals adjust to meet your needs with easy twist and lock placement. I am 5’ 10” and this Kayak works for me. My husband is 6’ 2” and it’s difficult for him to get in & out of the cockpit. We got these on close out sale. So, it’s a good price a reliable for new paddlers.

Definitely, go rent a few different types and make sure it will fit your size and needs before a purchase.
