The Slayer Propel 13 has been my primary fishing kayak for nearly 4 years now. I have used this boat in shallow marshes, large bays, lakes, reservoirs, rivers, and even offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. It is a very versatile kayak to say the least. My propel drive has taken a beating and has never left me stranded on the water. I’ve always carried an extra propellor and never had to use it. The hands free, instant reverse of the propel drive is a huge advantage compared to some other competitors. I’m 6’3” and 240 lbs and have no issues standing up or loading the boat down with gear. This is a great product and Native seems to have top notch customer service.
This kayak is a fishing machine, tons of features packed into a large, stable platform. The boat is a little heavy to handle off of the water but nothing that can’t be managed with some Native Landing Gear. Once on the water, you forget how heavy it is. I’ve fished out of many different kayaks and you won’t find one more stable and comfortable than this. The turning radius on this boat is phenomenal for its size. I have been more than pleased with this kayak.
