I really love these little sit-on-top kayaks. We bought three of these to add to our two sit-in Old Town Kayaks. We wanted something that sat low and was self bailing so that we could go down our local River with ease and not have to worry about taking on water. When we do river kayaking we are just there for the fun, playing, and hitting Rapids. I love getting wet on the river so these are perfect for small Rapids, getting in and out of the water, and generally horsing around. Also they are not so big my younger nieces and nephews couldn't paddle them. Stable and well-balanced, I weigh 230 pounds and it is easier for me to get in and out of these than it is to get in and out of my old towns. They track quite well considering how shallow a draft they have. Not the best for lakes, where we definitely prefer my old towns, but easier to Portage and tons of fun on our local rivers.
