I picked up a 2017 Stealth 12 off Craigs List. It was 200 or 300 off list price but, the seller through in a good paddle, pdf, anchor system and cart and some other miscellaneous things.

I am a 67 year old, 5-10, 215#

I have had it out 4 times now.
Good: Seat is super comfortable. It seems really very stable. I stood up with no difficulty but, still need to get comfortable doing that. It tracks straight and true.

All in all, I can't say I am super thrilled with it yet for the following reasons: 1- The scupper holes all seem to be placed at the highest point in the section they are meant to drain. 2- The balance seems to be heavy in the stern. You can see it in the promo video too. The stern has only a few inches of free board while the bow seems to be almost out of the water. May be it is balanced to have a 50 - 100 pound kid sitting on top of the Gator Hatch. 3- The Gator hatch gives access to the hull but, it all depends on a very good seal between the yak and the Gator. I would have preferred this to be on deck storage. Although, if I were ever to take a long trip there would be enough room for a week's supplies. 4- The rear deck again has a hatch that IMHO would be better as on deck storage. 5- The seat, while comfortable, is a bit of a pain to move from low to high position and the recline mechanism is a bit difficult to operate. You have to push in on each side and it moves one notch. If you push in (with difficulty) and turn, it will move to the position you want, then, you have to "untwist" it. 6 - The seat folds up and a strap secures it to be a support for standing a handhold will extend up too. If you can figure out the mechanism for doing that. 7- The floor space is too cluttered. Where I live and fish, live bait is not allowed so, the live well is convenient to put stuff in.

In general, the Malibu has lots of stuff on it but, I think it has a bit too much stuff.

Anyway, that is my opinion after having it for less than a month and using it maybe for 4 or hours.
