Although an older design the San Juan is the paddle of choice for touring sit-on-tops here in Hawaii. Great "bite" for the launch in surf and good control. Also good for low angle on wide Scupper Pros & other sit on tops. Werner strength and top quality. Very efficient paddle. Favorite here on Oahu.
