For a inexpensive paddle these have been great for me. They are 2 piece with 3 adjustment holes. They are light weight and have padded grips so they don't get hot when not in use. They seem to be very sturdy as for push off from the shore and so on. I am a novice kayaker and these are the only paddles I have used so I don't have a comparison... I'm just letting you know these paddles are, to me, as good as any expensive paddle.

Hi, my name is Sandra and I'm 67 yrs. young. I got my kayak for Christmas 2015. I've never been in one in my life and I loved it from the minute I got in. I put it in our swimming pool first to see how tippy it might be but it was great. Then I went to a small pond and from there to Martinez Lake outside of Yuma,Az. I have had nothing but a blast in this kayak. I love fishing and was so excited when I caught my first catfish out of Mittry Lake in Yuma,Az. I have a couple of friends I go with, which one friend has the same as mine and she caught her fish same day as myself. The Lakes we fish are fed by the Colorado River. My other buddy Helen is the one who gave us so many pointers on what to do and not to do. My Dolphin travels perfectly ,easy for me to get in by myself and out by myself. Easy to load in the back of my truck and unload also. I can't say enough about this kayak . I love it and would recommend to anyone starting out. Thank you for letting me brag about my Yak!
