I was almost killed at work - a 3000 lbs steel pipe fell from overhead and I ended up with exposed spinal cord, shattered pelvis ,compound fractured ankle and leg, shattered elliac creast, and other stuff. I had to sell my sit-in-side Pungo 120 due to back issues and not being able to sit low for extended periods.

My new Big Rig from Jackson is perfect, I can sit and have free movement and stand when needed, the stand up bar is great now that my balance is off. It's heavy but with my low trailer and kayak dollies I am good with help. It paddles like a lighter kayak, has extra space for gear, fishes like a dream, I am glad I chose the big rig and have never regretted it. I would recommend the rudder attachment and a electric motor to anyone in my condition or older folks, I call it my handicap kayak, but hey I still can get out and enjoy life so that makes this kayak a winner in my book.

I know it was probably designed for the heavier kayakers out there but it is a dream for slow rivers and lakes,my dad has one also he has been retired for several years so be is getting up there in age but loves his Big Rig also.
