Just returned from my first trip on my WS Tarpon .. This kayak is everything I hoped for, speed, tracking, stability, and was very very quiet!.. I purchased the boat with a rudder, but did not find the need for it on this trip.. I plan to hit the ocean in the next couple weeks and believe the Tarpon will serve the purpose well. Experimented with and without the scupper plugs, either way the ride was extremely dry.
