This is such a great kayak for a very tall paddler. I'm 6'8" tall and 245 lbs. so few kayaks are viable options. This design is very roomy and easy to get long legs in and out. My shop moved the foot peg assembly towards the bow, about 8". Then I took the "small" peg and attached an aluminum bike peddle, using fiberglass tape. With these two minor mod.s, I now have sit in Kayak that is very comfortable. It handles great in rivers and flat water. The dry hatch is a nice size and cockpit is large enough to hold a lots of gear. It is as nimble as a 13.5 can be, and gives you the option of using a rudder in flat water. If you are a very tall person, look at the Prodigy or Cove 13.5
