I was going to write a big long review then saw everything here. Suffice it to say I couldn't agree more. Just turned 70 with shoulders abused since 1959 when I first paddled out on a Malibu chip at Manhattan Beach. Been stroking a carbon Werner Shuna and would have gone for an even more aggressive Euro blade but for the shoulders. Turned to the Gearlab Greenland to maximize my years on the water and have given up nothing in the way of acceleration, cruising speed or maneuverability. I absolutely love the minimalist look and feel of the paddle and that I am holding the modern day version of the original Inuit artifact. Carbon for wood and plastic inter-changeable tips for whale bone. After first 4 hour session hands and wrists never felt better. And I can easily continue with my high angle style.
