I was very impressed with this boat. Tracks nice, handled the 1 foot wind waves with no prob. First time out in it I paddled 8 miles in good wind and felt great afterwards. All the seat adjustments make a nice change up after miles of paddling.
For taking the kids out or a recreational paddle by yourself this kayak is great. I have hauled kids up a river flowing about 3 miles and hour with no problem. Tracks nice and you can still turn it. I have also taken it into Morro Bay by my self and had a great time. I was able to achieve 7 mph by my GPS, but I couldn’t do it for long. The only thing it could use is a little more storage and a little more defined front and middle indentions for the seats.
