My Hurricane 116 skimmer is a dream to launch and paddle ! At 42 pounds it slips thru the water with ease .I mostly Kayak fish ,occasional bird watching . In my part of Florida ,there's lot's of great water to paddle . The milk crate area behind the seat is good access for my gear . Front sealed hatch is waterproof ,as well as the small hatch at the seat .I'm 5'7" and feel very comfortable ,with adjustable foot rests. The adjustable seat back is wonderful ,but I added a Summit seat for longer days . Overall a good lightweight and well made kayak !

The Summit GTS kayak seat is excellent for a longer day of Paddling ! I reviewed several other kayak seats ,but settled on this one .Mainly because of reviews ,design and price . Me being older and having lower back issues ,this seat is great ! The highly adjustable and heavy duty straps , do the job .I use this seat in Hurricane 116 Skimmer sit on top Kayak . My first time ,this seat paid for it's self ! 4 hours of comfort on the the water .

My Scotty fishing rod holder does the trick, holds my fishing and is out of the way for all day paddling . I mounted the holder in front the seat area of my Hurricane 116 Skimmer ,sit on top kayak . Great product for securing your expensive Fly rod or spinning outfit !

Perfect set up for my Kayak fishing needs ! Gives protection and access for my fishing gear . Easy to secure and remove ,when I'm on the water . I'll be looking at other Yak gear accessories again and soon .

I bought a Hurricane Skimmer 116. The cyber Green and White color is very attractive for my Florida paddling. I mainly was looking for a lighter sit on top kayak. With the 48 lbs, it's a pure pleasure to paddle and load on my car roof rack! Some nice features ,such as the front hatch and small water prove at the seat are handy. The soft seat contours well to my back, for the days adventure. No doubt this kayak was a good investment!

This paddle is of the best workmanship. Slices thru the water with ease! High quality materials. Excellent company to order from. I use from my fishing Ocean Scrambler Sit on top kayak.

I bought my Ocean Scrambler 11 kayak Sit on top 6 years ago. It has traveled with me from Florida to Vermont and back. I use the kayak in the flats, marsh and estuaries of North East and SW Florida. Very stable and durable. Is a bit heavy, but still lifts easy overhead. Plenty of storage. A great kayak for the beginner.
