I bought my glass Fjord last in September 07, and have been in love with it ever since! The Mango color that I got has been an eye catcher. Very maneuverable on edge this kayak is great for surfing and in rough water. I like the fact that Boreal Design gives you the choice of a dayhatch. For me it was no dayhatch because of the long items on a multi day trip that I carry. A lot of my friends are paddling 17-18 foot kayaks and I keep up with no extra effort.
