I got the PaddleSki 435 about nine years ago. I'm sorry Sea Eagle no longer sells them. I've invested a lot of creative engineering in improving the seating. While I love the low weight and versatility, I found the "deluxe" seats to be poorly designed as delivered. Adding a cord to keep the seats from sliding forward during use helped somewhat, but finally ditched the Sea Eagle seats and got very comfortable seat made for Vibe brand kayaks. I mounted each one to two wooden boards about 4" wide and long enough to straddle across both pontoons. These also raise your seating height roughly 5 inches which is much more comfortable for me. However, I've had problems with air leaks at the front end of one pontoon and back end of the other even though I've never filled them more than 1.5 - 2 psi (3 psi is the manufacturers max.) I've successfully repaired these with friendly advice from their tech support. However, now I a new leak appeared at a seam that goes around one pontoon about 1/4 of the way back from the front end. This leak developed spontaneously while paddling and nearly left us stranded in the Indian River near Sebastian, FL. I could repair, but I no longer trust the other seams. However, I would consider buying one if they come out with a new model. I think the problem is they used glued seams rather than heat welded ones like some other inflatables use. I'd like to continue to use my great seats and electric motor with lithium battery on a new rig.
