Got this to learn to roll and play in ocean surf. Not the best for surfing but got very comfortable in it as I tried to show off at the beach (middle aged version) and punch thru larger close out waves and riding the foam.
Easy to roll. Never got ballsy enough to barrel roll in medium sized tubes though. I'd bring this kayak when I was feeling especially playful.
Was emotionally hard to sell this but thankfully the middle aged guy I sold it too was very excitable about buying it to learn how to surf kayak. Made it easier. The story, then, continues.
