Tandem 15' Description

The Tandem is designed to be used as a paddle board, but by simply clipping in the seat, the stand-up paddle board converts to a kayak. The multifunctional design of the Tandem allows for more than four paddling configurations; from standing to sitting, the opportunities are endless with the Tandem. Great for families, couples, or solo paddlers, the Tandem truly is a versatile board perfect for all levels of paddlers. With its flat bottom hull and triple fixed-fin configuration, the Tandem offers both efficient paddling across those long flatwater paddles and also cuts through the water with ease.

We bought ours at Costco and inflated it to 14 psi, after a couple hours of use it the side seam split while it was sitting on the sand. We returned it as so as we got home.

32 years ago I was a wilderness canoe guide. Last week my wife and I did 3 days of whitewater rafting on The Colorado River. Yesterday on an impulse I drive an hour and a half to a nearby lake.Ssomeone there loaned me their Bodyglove tandem paddle board after I asked theM a bunch of questions about it. I’d never been on one before. Granted, I only spent about 45 minutes on this thing. There was about a 15 to 20 knot wind blowing into shore and the water was slightly choppy. I was completely amazed by this thing! I wouldn’t have known it was inflatable because how absolutely rigid it is. I tied just about every configuration of use (except kayaking) and found this paddle-board to be extreme to use, very, very well made, and a whole lotta fun! I would have no problem doing a few day easy trip (either alone or with someone else) on this thing as there are plenty of ways to strap gear onto it. It comes with with everything you need for it’s various operational options as well as a repair kit.
