I bought this because my wife…

I bought this because my wife was using one for her kayak. Granted it's now 4 years old, but as I was hanging my boat yesterday the sling ripped off the wall. It says it's good for boats up to 85 pounds and my boat is 69 pounds with seat. It's disappointing. My wifes sling is 3 years older than mine and looks in great shape.

Very simple to use storage system to keep that kayak off the ground. Super easy to install, goes up in mere minutes and it is just as easy to get that kayak secured. Love it!

The kayak and canoe storage…

The kayak and canoe storage racks are made to handle the loads intended. The craftsmanship is superb. I mounted them on the galvanized dock uprights on my covered dock, so they not only saved dock space but, also made launching and loading easy.

Talic's customer service (Jeannie) is fantastic. They even created an expanded product because I needed a larger rack. They didn't even blink about the re-engineering to suit my 16' Mad River canoe...and said it would a great way to expand their service. They kept me informed all the way.

Super great product and marvelous folks to work with.
I can't recommend them enough

Simplicity Rules! I consulted…

Simplicity Rules! I consulted Paddling.net because we needed a storage system for our two 12-foot kayaks, and I decided on the the Talic sling set. Its simplicity really intrigued me, and I was not disappointed.

The slings arrived just 4 days after ordering on a weekend. Mounting comes down to screwing two screws into studs, one for each sling. Done. The slings and mounts look well-made, the whole thing is inexpensive, and I wish everything about kayaking was as simple as this sling set.

This is simple, inexpensive, well-made, comes with stainless hardware, and does what it says it'll do. Perfect for quickly hanging my 16'6" sea kayak on the fence out back. Just make sure you have a way to mount the straps into something sturdy AND such that they are spaced properly so your boat hangs supported near the bulkheads.
