8'8" Airborn great for the guy over 175 lbs. everything about this design is perfect for any size waves that I have been in up to head high very steap fast or mushy waves the rocker is great for late drop. All the magic is on the tail for carving even in smaller waves.. This board took my surfing to a whole different level. I really wanted a Pro but I made the right choice with this board it also does well going back out through the whitewash Pros Rocker, thickness, construction maneuverability.looks Cons I've had the board for 8 months and don'know of any yet Usage Surf 2 to 3 times a week

I don't know what that other review is doing with his airborn but I surf mine at Blacks beach and the board rips if you get back on the tail it is insane the control and carving it will do you need to get in some more powerful waves. I have the 8'8" wood model and the stability and all around control is very good and it is build to last well worth the money I am not interested in having a board 1/2 submerged that I have to keep paddling to stay afloat Pros Weight , rocker for steep drops, width for stability, thickness it does not feel like a big bloated board like a lot of sup , Cons If I had to try real hard to come up with one it drags me a long way when I have to bail the board to go under a big wave Usage Surf

As a SUP Board, it's rather slow for intermediate level, but it's fantastic for beginners. The same goes true for Windsurfing board quality, Pros Cons Usage Exercising
