Amazing design lots of storage and extras. Plenty of gear track for adding fish finders, rod holders etc.. Seat is comfortable can spend hours on the water without discomfort......My (1) complaint is even with a rudder it doesn’t track well in choppy water or brisk currents. A lot of paddling to keep it straight .....Works fine on on flat water and is able to get through shallow water without much effect.... If Bonafide could find a hull design that keeps the SS127 straight in choppier water without giving up the stability ( extremely stable) would probably make it the blueprint that all others would follow.....

great kayak for fishing and hunting. Very stable, im 62 and this is my first kayak. I have it set up with a torgeedo trolling motor and a humminbird fish finder. I also have a blind for duck hunting in the fall.
I love my Bonafide SS 127.…
I love my Bonafide SS 127. Stability is the best I've ever had. I'm 6'4" tall and 262 lbs and not only stand on center but also port and starboard sides. Yak Attack rails are everyplace I could passably want then. Versatile also I keep my snorkeling gear with me, and slipping in and out of the water is not a problem. I've got in from the front, back,and both sides. Fishing is great. Storage is huge and biggest by far the entire hull is the storage not to mention always dry. The seat is a very comfortable 4 position chair. Spent 14 hrs fishing with no fatigue whatsoever this is my go-to kayak I have six kayak this is my favorite

I love my kayak!!! It's so comfortable, Caught some great fish, Standing and setting, Easy to get out of in case I need to swim or snorkel in the springs or Gulf or Atlantic, Easy to get back on from the water without fear of tipping. I'm 6' 4" tall 260 lbs. Storage is the best I've had. The entire hull is storage, The Seat is the most comfortable. I've spent 14 hrs on my SS 127. By far This is my go to Kayak and I have 6 different Kayaks.
Love the stability .. reccomend using a rudder to help it track better.

All American made, this is an awesome kayak it’s light, stability is unbelievable. Paddling is a breeze great fishing kayak. Bonafide Kayak with yak attack accessories is the way to go. Live the story you want to tell and rig the dream!
After years of stand up fishing out of a canoe I had a hard time finding a fishing kayak I felt comfortable standing up in. After tons of research and comparisons I decided to go with the bonafide ss127 and put my ocean kayak BG2 up for sale. What an amazing well thought out and stable kayak! Unfortunately they are not sold in Canada so I had to travel to Fairview PA to purchase. It was well worth it. We will see how customer service is as I could not register my kayak on line due to an IT glitch (being outside US). Confidence in standing and moving around is finally back, adjustable seat height ( 10") is an added plus when out all day.
