I picked up my Wee Lassie in November of 21. There is a learning curve to entry and I would like to know if other folks enter their boat as shown in the video on the slipstream watercraft website, that is, face out from the boat and drop your butt into the seat, then swing legs over into the boat.

with my previous kayak, I could step one foot into the boat and lower myself into the seat, but my understanding is that I shouldn't do it this way in the Lassie.

I'd appreciate any input.

Excellent . This is a lightweight versatile canoe perfect for anyone who likes boating on lakes and streams. It’s easily transported and easy to care for... at 9 lbs it’s hard to beat. I have always been a kayaker but the work involved in loading and transporting my heavy kayak really put a dampener on going out and now this is such an easy boat I am out almost daily, after work and on weekends

I have a 2019 hybrid Wee Lassie made of Innegra/Kevlar/Carbon, with "internal scratch pads" reinforcement (virtually unnoticeable). At this point I've paddled (and shouldered) my Wee Lassie weekly for 4 months, mostly using a kayak paddle but sometimes with a short, bent blade canoe paddle. The Wee Lassie is everything I had hoped--basic with not an ounce of extra "fat", nicely made, handsome, extremely light and portable, fun to paddle and to fish from, and it tracks well and is fast relative to it's size. I very highly recommend it!

This is my second fiberglass Wee Lassie (gifted the first)and I can't say enough good things about it. It's quick, responsive and pretty good in wind. The seating is very comfortable and I like the space before the first thwart for my dog. At 23 lbs. it's always my grab and go boat! You do have to be careful about rocks, though! Also, great customer service!

10' 6" Wee Lassie, 16-17 lbs. Easy on/off the car, a breeze to carry & a joy to paddle. I fly fish small ponds, the canoe has exceeded my expectations. Better than a kayak for my needs.
