Barely adequate is the best…

Barely adequate is the best way to describe this. I had a West Marine branded dry bag that had a fairly thick waterproof lining and worked great for at least 2 years. When that got beaten up enough to be retired, I went back to West Marine, but all they had were these sea to summit bags. More money, less dry. This bag is not completely waterproof in constantly wet conditions, the lining is just too thin. It doesn't hold air either, one of the nice features of my old bag was it would float if you sealed air in, definitely a nice last resort safeguard. This one is a shriveled mass in 10 minutes or less. It's dry enough for my wallet and key fobs, but definitely not for a smartphone. Sea to summit makes some cool products, I have a packable backpack that is quite useful (but you sure do pay for it), but this is an expensive disappointment. I won't be buying another.

I have two of these bags,…

I have two of these bags, each a different size (20 and 15 liters). The larger of the two leaks at the seam (something I discovered when I wondered why my "dry" bag of clothes would always be wet if water got into the hatch where I stowed the bag. And the smaller of the two got a knick in it, practically brand new, from where or what I have no idea at all.

So I'm not at all impressed by the material of these bags and would not purchase another or recommend the product to a friend.

I put all my camping gear in…

I put all my camping gear in these great bags. They are tough and dependable and reasonably priced. I have had them for years and they still work great. Well except for the two bags that the mice chewed through. So many sizes to chose from that there's a bag for all your gear. They fit into the kayak with ease and my gear stays completely dry.

We use the sea to summit dry…

We use the sea to summit dry bags every time we are on the water. This particular one has straps to help collapse it after loading it. I'm able to carry enough blankets in it for camping or whatever I throw at it. It's a few years old with no signs of letting me down!
